In 1995, she received her MFA in creative nonfiction from Goddard College. Her personal essays have been published in the Los Angeles Times, Brain/Child, Route 66 Magazine and other journals and anthologies. She has taught creative writing and radio production workshops with a variety of populations in high schools, juvenile correctional facilities, public libraries, substance abuse treatment centers, and assisted living facilities.
Producing life story videos enables her to combine her passion for oral history and multi-media, working directly with families to weave stories and personal artifacts into engaging documentaries.
She lives in Los Angeles, but will always travel for a good story.
